ON May 19th I had my gallbladder removed. And two months later I have to be careful with the foods I eat. Alcohol, greasy foods (hamburgers, etc.); ice cream, and foods in high fat content are all no-nos.
I'm limited in what I can eat without experiencing an attack of severe stomach and esophoagus pain and GERD problems, all of which is not fun.

Both my son-in-law, the internal medicine doctor, and my own doctor have told me that 80% of those whom have the surgery experience little or no problems and continue life eating whatever they want. But the other 20% experience problems like I have that can last 6 months or more after the surgery. Apparently I am in the unlucky 20%.

My question is: Have others on here had this surgery, and what has been their experience?
Thanks in advance.
