How does that Omaha team I just watched, waltz in CHA and score 98 points in a 98-89 win? That is staggering to me. They were NOT a good team, or even close to a good team. We just beat them by over 40 points. I know the transitional rule is perfect in hoops, but when you beat a team by 40+ and that team beats Iowa by 9, you are usually going to be in good shape when you play Iowa. Usually.
I still fear the road and the rivalry factor that will make it tough, but this is now a game we have to win. Have to.
