If we had stuck with the original plan to play SDSU we would be 3-0 right now and probably ranked in the top 10. Ive said for years that its better to play 3 slappys to ensure we start out 3-0. Think Bill Snyders scheduling philosophy. No reason to schedule a team that can beat you first game of the season. Deflates enthusiasm for the season if you lose. Same reason Iowa schedules Big ten teams during their season for the easy wins. Point is, there was no reason to play Louisiana and risk a loss. No reason to ever schedule UNI. But i guess if we lose to UNI or Louisiana we arent any good anyway, right? At least thats the argument I always get.
