We really don't have many opportunities to play non conference games against power 5 schools. Aside from Iowa, since 2001 we have only played 6 power 5 football games and have gone 1-5 in those games. The last win over a power 5 that is not Iowa or from the Big 12 was 10 years ago (Minnesota in the bowl game). I know many will strongly disagree with this, but I would like to see us play a power 5 home and home every now and again. Some of our Big 12 brethren play 2 power 5 schools for a regular season game every year. Texas, TCU, and West Virginia come to mind.
