The last two years there has been a Hilton Magic team in the TBT (winner take all $2mil bball tourney). Both years were disappointing -- both by who eventually signed on to play, to who actually showed up, and the results.
This year there is a new team that features a couple of Cyclones but with a twist -- they have players from all four major university in Iowa - hence the Iowa United name. They are playing to raise awareness/funds for a group called Fore the Veterans.

I know one of the guys that help recruit players. Didn't get everyone they wanted but much better roster than either of the Hilton Magic teams - especially if they all show up.
Not sure how fun it will be to see 40 year old Marcus Fizer out there but they claim he is in shape so we shall see I guess. Also cool to see a mix of under 25 guys with a couple veterans.
Could be an interesting diversion during mid-summer when there is no football or basketball going on.
