For better or worse, we are going to have a vastly different MBB team next year. And not just because there are 6-7 new bodies. The age of those bodies is a biggie. Last year, we had one of the oldest rotations in college basketball, with 22, 23, and 24 year old men sprinkled with Lipsey and, occasionally, Watson.

Next year, in addition to Lipsey and Watson, we are adding Paveletzke and 4 incoming Freshmen as true freshmen and sophomores. Gilbert is a true junior, so 20-21 years old. Williams is a RS junior, so older as are Hasan, BRE, and Tre.

On paper, we are better shooters. Will we be better scorers?

I would guess we won't start as tough defensively. But for those that think Lipsey is in danger of losing his PG spot, he is the one proven perimeter defender.

Very interesting to see how TJ puts this team together. On paper, it appears that they can play faster and deeper. But can they really? And, if they can, is it even in TJ's DNA?

And will they go shooter, a big, or long 3 type for the remaining position?
