I witnessed our own Cygarin reaching the peak of an obscure summit in the Southers Black Hills last used by the George Armstrong Custer expedition over 150 years ago. After a two year search, and an unsuccessful attempt to find the site a year ago, he used satellite imagery and topo maps to successfully scale the peak just this week! He stood on the very spot that Custer may have stood during his famous expedition through the Hills. Hats off to our statistician and historian!
