I know this is a huge IF, but IF...
We beat Texas...win out from there...win our bowl game.
We would likely finish in the Top 25 as a 9-4 bowl winner. With 4 losses by 11 points combined, the "what ifs" would only be eclipsed by the "what is nexts."
We bring a LOT of talent back at a LOT of positions. One of the best QBs in the nation will be back and that is what drives football hype. The Hype Machine for 2020 ISU Football would make this year's hype look like baby play.
I hope the players are focusing on Texas...I'm sure they are. But I'm really excited for the future.
