I just want to shake my head and let out a big sigh. This team got knocked in the face, and started knocking back. Was it pretty? No. Were we ever in danger of winning? Not really. But they absolutely did not fold. In the past that has usually not been the case. Remember 2002? Ranked like 9th in the country. Kicked and cowering we were left. (That's my best Yoda impression.)
We were out of running backs (maybe, since there are mixed reports on whether Warren was cleared or not.) They did not maul us on the lines. (Nor did we maul them.) But this team is growing. I just hope there are enough bodies left to get after the next two winnable games. If we win them, WVU better not take us lightly. But first things first. Play smart and with passion against Kansas.
