Just a heads up that given the Cyclones come down to face the Longhorns in another month, the Austin club will be throwing an all day tailgate again for ISU folks to gather at. Same big lot, same BBQ team, same unltd beer just like our past UT tailgates. ISU Alumni Assoc. decided to only do just TCU last weekend so we will be the only ISU tailgate in town this time

Like the FAQ says, it's just several of us Austin club guys who know how tough it is to impromptu tailgate at a large downtown campus like UT with such a huge fanbase. We were lucky enough to score the $800 early sale of the big lots back in May (price keeps going up every time) or there would be no tailgate at all this year. Nobody here is trying to make $$, just recovering our out-of-pocket expenses, so all proceeds will go to the BBQ team's local charity again.
So if you know you're coming down then do us the favor of buying the online discounted ticket now to help us plan the food and drinks. Come game day it will go up to $25 cash only at the door.
Btw, if you're still looking for game tickets within a friendly ISU block (instead of sitting next to Burnt Orange-clad folk), the DFW Club is still selling ISU ticket blocks up to this Sunday night the 25th. They have also arranged ISU discounts at a downtown Marriott Courtyard or a cheaper Hilton Home2 several miles north. Those links are on the DFW page and their discounts expire this Friday night the 23rd.
