The Iowa State men’s basketball team finished 16th nationally in average attendance among Division I men’s basketball programs during the 2015-16 season.
Iowa State, which ranked among the nation’s top-30 for the seventh consecutive season, averaged 14,270 fans per home game, filling Hilton Coliseum at 99.21 percent capacity over the course of the season.
The 2015-16 season marked the fifth time in school history and the third time in as many seasons that ISU has averaged more than 14,000 fans per game.
The Cyclones were second among Big 12 schools in average home attendance. In all games, Iowa State played in front of 442,760 fans.
Iowa State finished 23-12 overall, including 14-2 at Hilton Coliseum. The Cyclones are 76-7 at home in the last five seasons. ISU has 48 sellouts the last four seasons.
