I always look at the Iowa game and wished it was later in the season. ISU always seems to improve as the season goes on and Iowa typically plateaus. So if this was fantasy world and moving the schedule was as easy as a snap of the fingers, I would make Iowa play Nebraska the second week of the season and Iowa vs ISU would be the Friday after Thanksgiving. Majority of the student section would find its way back and the game would have huge measures.
I’d move Arkansas State up to the second game and Utah the third. Of course, if ISU can come out of the the locker rooms playing with their hair on fire like it’s October, this wouldn’t be a thought. How do they fix the slow start?
