I stumbled across an old excel file that I had saved on the cpu that had a description of the meaning behind "Honor Before Victory". I'm sure a copied it from somewhere online (probably here) and saved it. The theme was about young men missing football games to either harvest or prepare for war in the late 30's. It was an "honor" to do those things and more important than football. Priorities. Searching again it looks like that may not be accurate. Does anyone know the history or have a link that explains this?
