we all know these guys read their own press clippings. Maybe just maybe being called “soft” on a National telecast after the game will light a little fire under these guys. Unfortunately I’m not sure there’s anything else Prohm can do. He’s probably tried everything he can think of. That’s not excusing him either. Somewhere along the line he lost some of these guys at least to a certain extent. The fact that Febres was able to catch the ball where he did with his feet set and room to shoot that many times is mind-boggling. The scouting report either wasn’t effectively communicated or it was essentially ignored.
