This past weekend I played in a golf tournament in Tucson with a guy from Kentucky. I asked him what part of Kentucky and he said western. I asked if he followed Murray State basketball and he said he lived only a mile from campus. So I told him I am an Iowa State guy and we talked about CSP. The first thing he said about our coach was that he is a good man. He went on to talk about the success of the program and some of the great players from that program. He thought if Murray could of had a better big man in recent years they would have been a legitimate contender. This conversation was all good from someone close to the Murray State bb program.
I just wanted to share a positive conversation about our coach. He is a good man and I feel for the guy right now. Here's to a great turnaround and a good run down the stretch. Go Cyclones! Bottom line.
