When I walked into the stadium in 2005 you could feel the energy. The student section was full way before kick off and there was a VERY angry vibe or undercurrent seemingly throughout the whole stadium. It was like the crowd smelled blood in the water before the game even kicked off. Of course we all know what happened. I wasn't there Saturday, was it similar? And how much did the weather delays perhaps take the energy or crowd out? My son who is a Soph said a lot of the students were exhausted later in the day, said his fraternity was drunk early in the morning and were tired later in the day.
