Wow!! They are coming out with guns blazing!! The speed at which this is happening is impressive. Staff assembly has been swift. Recruiting mtg/ war room accomplished. Multiple offers. Campbell seems to have a very clear vision. It seems like he knows exactly what he wants and goes after it. He seems to have a system and sticks with it. Very refreshing! Another thread has a link to his recruiting philosophy. I like the size of the guys we are offering. Most are from Ohio/ big 10 area. Don't see any from Texas and only one from Florida so far. I like that he seems to be able to identify talent and traits that rank as important. Previous staff really didn't seem to identify talent very well until the last two years. The previous philosophy was to recruit leftovers in Texas, Florida. Basically ignore other places, especially Iowa. Haven't heard anything good about ISU recruiting Iowa high schools on here. Time will tell how this works out. Campbell is feasting on soft commits or programs in flux like Missouri, Illini, MN. Also flat-out offering committed kids that he wants. Very aggressive. I see some have already scheduled visits. Very impressive. Do feel bad for Toledo, though.
