Just back from the first Iowa State camp of this summer, my 13th covering Cyclone football and recruiting. Those first campers from 2003 are now +/- 30 years old and that blows my mind!
Quick observation from today: Oswego (Ill.) prospect Steven Frank stood out as the elite quarterback among several that Iowa State had in camp for evaluation today. He was simply better than all the rest by a noticeable margin, IMO. Will be very surprised if he isn't an offer recipient very soon. Already has offers from Boston College and Illinois and number of non-P5 schools.
Will have more from today's camp after I process all of my notes. Over 250 kids in attendance overall.
