Iowa State received a commitment this evening from Bakersfield (CA) Ridgeview HS DB Lawrence White, who had taken his official visit the weekend of the Iowa game. White broke the news on his Twitter page. He plays quarterback for his team but will switch to cornerback at the next level. You'll remember that his Ridgeview HS program has produced current Cyclones Kamari Cotton-Moya and Sheldon Croney. As we reported shortly after his visit, White was thought of as a strong Iowa State lean and would likely be committing once he got his mother fully on board with the decision. That happened this evening, apparently. We'll have more on his commitment later this evening.
