I admit I am here playing armchair QB questioning some position changes, well so be it. I understand we are light at TE in bodies, and possibly a little light at WR but:

If we are searching for our best 5 OL and maybe most importantly, looking for a Center to step up then why do you take a guy like Cole Anderson who was touted as a C when he came here because of his size and intelligence and put him at 4th string TE? I get that there will be a few times where we may need a double TE set with a guy that can block but why not allow him to compete full time at C when it is a higher profile position of need now? Or at least why not let him practice at center 90% of the time and put him out as a situation specific blocking TE when needed? Seems like a lot of lost development time where a guy could be gaining reps at C all year and learning the calls etc?

Ken Lynn moving to WR "by his choice" also disturbs me a bit. I know we have several youngsters and JC guys that appear to be promising but why does the staff allow the player to make the position switch decision? I mean this is the pass happy Big 12, we need improvement on defense and I would rather have a battle tested CB out there to give Sam R or Tribune a blow or to go against multiple WR sets and put the best cover guys out there on 3rd and long vs. have Ken L be a 4th string WR.

Also, I wonder if Mitch Meyers is still lifting at least or around the team at all? I sure hope so but maybe his treatments don't allow for it? I am rooting big time for him to be cleared to play this fall, but maybe that is asking too much, assuming the treatment is successful?
