I particularly enjoy listening to Murph & Andy on Monday's after Iowa State win and Iowa loss. Both Murph and Andy feign non-biased partiality, but that thin veneer is particularly thin on days like this.
When both ISU and UI win they are complementary to both teams, always moreso Iowa, but positive to both. On days like today, they (particularly Andy) reach into an almost bottomless bag of backhanded compliments directed at ISU and ISU fans to minimize and diminish the value of Iowa State's win.
Not everyone enjoys their program, but on the whole, I do. It is days like today that I get an extra smile knowing Murph & Andy will be working hard to maintain what they believe is the accepted pecking order in the state. I look forward to coming weeks and years as CMC and ISU continue to improve and they get more and more desperate.
