Official NCAA RPI has Iowa State No. 1 as of today. Doesn't mean a whole lot on Dec. 14, of course. But there is a lot of ignorant analysis of ISU's schedule out there that "they haven't played anybody." Chattanooga, Colorado and Iowa are all RPI Top 25 wins as of today. And while no one thinks Illinois or Va. Tech are world beaters, they are indeed high major opponents. They've only played two real slappies IMO - Chicago State and UAPB.
