Beating Iowa and Mr. shoes was great - women won as well. Going undefeated is beyond anyone’s imagination. TJ has solid fan support and will be given more space to weather the inevitable rough patches in the future. The “Fred” cloud over the program has ended.
2. Fiesta bowl win!

3. Men’s CC team - national runner-up
4. Football coaching carousel ends favorably - so far.
Events of the year helped keep coach. Harbaugh beat OSU, MichSt coach gets big contract, and PSU coach stays. ND hires a new coach who will be around for at least 4-5 years. In addition, college coaches in the NFL aren’t fairing well - Urban Meyer fired, Matt Ruhle not doing well - Kliff somewhat underperforming as well. Makes CMC less likely as a possible NFL coach.
5. Big 12 not dead yet!
The AAC - ESPN gambit to destroy the conference fails. New additions were likely the best options available and the R8 have stayed together so far. Time will tell on this as well.
