Let's just say ISU wins this week and Michigan is still going to be covided out and not play Ohio State on Dec 12. OSU needs a game against a quality opponent to try to get in the playoffs.
What about OSU vs ISU on Dec 12, even if we are in the B12 Championship game on the 19th?
OSU benefits, because with a win, they would probably enough to justify them in the playoffs with the extra game.
ISU would benefit, because if they could beat OSU, and then win the B12 the following week, they would have a hell of a case to be in the playoffs.
So to me, the risk reward is B12 ship vs playing for a natty.
With that said, OSU needs us more than we need them, so I'd be in, but only if they came to JTS. And that the TV networks cut us a hell of a check for the game.
