We have a three year trend, imo.Year 1 doesn't count other than we improved.
We start slow. 2 of 3 fcs games have been close and the third was lightened out. We lost 3 games to Iowa, all could have been won and two (home) should have been. And we bad an early conference loss to "equalish" teams.
Then we had the run in each year. This year we didnt get the signature win.
Then we flatten and de-energize with frustrating wins and head-scratching losses (including the Reggie induced screw job.)
And, really, uninspiring (twice) and embarrassing (once) bowl performances.
We have improved, no doubt a out it, but it doesn't feel like we are still ascending.
At least we are not getting embarrassed like OU.
