My son's "best man" was in charge of the heating/cooling contracting for the Sukup Club. He said that it was a spectacular sports facility and that it would be definitely cool inside. He was at our tailgate awhile before the Sukup opened and he had to go back to make sure there were no 1st game issues.
My son said the view from the upper deck, southwest, was really good and the big video boards are visible on both ends. Of course, the North one was easier to see without turning. He said it was really hot as there was no breeze at all and that the sound was easily heard.
The son of the former HS football coach at Algona (not sure which one) said it was really a good atmosphere. He brought his kids to the game and said it was a much better environment than Iowa. (Dad is a Panther Hawk and I assume both Scott and Brent are also.) He said it was so much easier to go to the bathroom and concessions than at Iowa. [Got the information from the dad, in case you hadn't figured that out.] The dad went to the Hawkeye game (UNI grad) and said that Iowa is a lot faster on defense this year, for what that is worth.
