Last October he was back for another Cyclone football game. Friday afternoon some of us
from his teams of 1968-1972 rented a party room in a Ames hotel for 2 hours.
There were 25 of us. He knew everyone’s names. He told stories from some of our games
against Oklahoma. Nebraska. Colorado. We were thinking you are 84 years old and you left
Iowa State and won a National title at Pittsburgh and then onto Tennessee and you remember
all of this from 48 years ago? God Bless you and your wife. ❤️
