When I saw the 4 teams, I immediately viewed it as the committee appeasing the SEC and Big10.

In my opinion, it is basically 2 Big 10 Teams and 2 SEC teams. If TX wasn’t joining the SEC, I would fully expect them to be passed over by Georgia or Ohio State.
