So my 19 year old has me watching youtube clips of current young boxing stars. The most impressive is 20 year old Lightweight 135# Ryan Garcia. He is 21-0 and they are putting him up against tougher fighters each match. His last 2 matches haven't gone past a minute or two. One was against a guy who had fought in 2 world championship matches. Garcia looks about 15 years old and is usually a couple inches taller than his opponent. The kid is lightning fast with heavy punches. Youtube some of his matches. He fought Cool Hand Luke Campbell from Britain recently. Campbell was an Olympic champ, a southpaw who actually knocked Garcia down with a left hook in the 2nd round. Campbell said he knew he hit him with a good one but admired how Garcia got right up. This clip shows Garcia ending the fight in the 6th round with a body punch to the ribs.
