I’ve been going to this tournament for a long time. The last 2 years I have a couple complaints

1. Mobile tickets- There are too many parties involved. AXS is a total cluster. Why T Mobile chooses to use a third/fourth party app is a mystery. It just complicates things. Last year and this year I have not received my tickets before the game started. Last year I bought ISU/ Houston tickets through Stubhub and never received my tickets at all. Had to go to the ticket window and buy different tickets in a worse location well after the game started. I did get refunded by Stubhub.
This year, I went to the games Friday night. (BYU/Houston and TTech/ Arizona) I bought tickets on SeatGeek an hour before the games started. Purchased was confirmed but waiting to be “fulfilled”. That means tickets had to be sent to AXS and then they need to send me an email when they are ready. There must have been a total failure as hundreds of fans were standing in outside T-Mobile because tickets weren’t transferring into AXS or they kept getting errors trying to log in to AXS. The lines were very long when I got in line about 5:55. Of course they only had 3 ticket windows open. Problems continued well after the game started. Some got lucky and their tickets went through finally, well after games were underway. BYU fans were pissed. I would have been really pissed if ISU was playing. I was 6:20 before I got to the window and stated my problem which was very similar to everyone else’s. Had seats in Sec. 108. Lower level. Lady hands me tickets for Sec 230. Upper deck. BS. I used those tickets to get in the door and sat where I bought tickets. Missed half of the first half. I’m not sure where the issues are happening but pretty sure it’s a problem getting tickets into AXS. I never have problems when I buy tickets though Stubhub and Seatgeek other places as the tickets go straight into your account. The extra step using AXS is very dumb and unnecessarily complicates things. If they can’t handle the load, it’s time to change. Sorry that was long.

2. Restaurants in/around Power and light stop serving food at 10 pm or even close at that time. There are games that last til 11 pm and thousands of fans coming out that want to eat. Staying open for food should be a requirement. The main bars in the covered area do serve some food later but not big menus. Had to eat at Johnny’s Thursday night. Friday night had to leave the TTec/ Arizona game early to make it to Yardhouse before kitchen closed at 11 pm. Other big places like Gordon Ramsey’s BRGR close at 10 pm, onna Friday night. I just don’t get it. They are located there because of events at T Mobile. They should have to stay open longer to feed people after events as part of their lease.
