Everyone that is leaving us for dead in the Big 12 Championship race is overlooking something, I think... Hear me out.
If Iowa State wins out, minus Oklahoma, we will finish at 7-2 with losses to Baylor and Oklahoma.
If Texas wins out, minus a loss to Iowa State, they will finish at 7-2 with losses to Iowa State and Oklahoma.
If Baylor wins out, but loses to Oklahoma and Texas, they will finish 7-2 with losses to Texas and Oklahoma.
The tiebreak Baylor has over us is effectively negated by the tiebreak we have over Texas, who owns a tiebreak over Baylor, and round and round we go. Essentially, we have a three way tie with losses to each other (in addition to a loss to Oklahoma).
I realize this is a long shot and requires a lot to happen. Namely, we need to beat Texas, we need Texas to beat Baylor, and many other relative toss-ups. However, if this were to happen, what is the tiebreaker?
