Basketball only contract

I seem to remember the Big 12 was going to start negotiating for new contract for bball, I am right or just dreaming it up?
There is no reason at all for the Big 12 tournament games to be espn plus, opting for wbb games

Truly amazing how bad the conference is treated by espn
