I would not be surprised to see ISU crack 60,000 average attendance for 2019 which would likely put them in the top 25 of college football attendance. A home schedule that includes UNI, iowa, Texas, Okie State, and no home game during Thanksgiving break coupled with the momentum Matt's winning has provided should ensure a big number. 2017 would have been higher but that Thursday night game versus Texas put a huge damper on attendance...51,234. A Saturday game would have at least been 58,000 which would have raised the season average to 59,059...good for #25. Fingers crossed ISU doesn't get screwed by the league moving a Saturday game to a Thursday or even Friday.
