So after we beat OU and #17 TCU on the road, we were headed higher regardless. But check out what went on in front of us this week, as we were #25. I watch these rankings closely each week and I do not recall anything like this in the recent past:

#25 Iowa State - we went 2-0 with 2 very good road wins
#24 Ohio State LOST to Purdue
#23 Charleston went 2-0 vs NC A& T and Delaware...I think we jump them. They have nowhere near our resume.
#22 Auburn LOST to Georgia
#21 New Mexico LOST to Fresno St.
#20 Mizzou LOST to Arkansas
#19 Baylor LOST to TCU and Kansas St.
#18 Xavier will stay ahead of us - they had a great week, 2-0 vs UConn and Villanova
#17 TCU lost to us today
#16 Duke LOST to NC State (by 24)
#15 Indiana LOST to TOE after blowing a huge lead
#14 Wisconsin LOST to Illinois
#13 Arkansas LOST to Auburn
#12 Miami LOST to Georgia Tech
#11 Virginia LOST to Pitt

I did not bother to go into the Top 10 as I don't see a jump into the Top 10 from #25 as realistic under almost any circumstance. However, when you look at those battlefield casualties from 24-11, I can see where we could sneak close to - or into - the Top 15. We just picked a very good week to go 2-0 with 2 road wins.
