AMES, Iowa – Head coach Kevin Dresser announced the addition of two high school prep standouts to Iowa State's 2024 signing class Monday. Canon Acklin and Gabe Carver will arrive on campus for the 2024-25 season.

"We're really excited to add Canon and Gabe to an already tough incoming class," Dresser said. "Canon is a young stud from Oklahoma and Gabe is a hard-nosed Iowa kid. These guys are competitors and I'm excited to see how they fit into our room."
