Conference voted unanimously to determine a "true" football champion in the case of ties by using the same formula used to seed the basketball tournament, and formerly used to determine which teams played in the league title game if there was a tie for a division championship.
First criteria head-to-head; in the case of multiple teams tied when that doesn't work, outcome against next highest rated team; eventually score differential.
Makes sense, but one thing I don't like at all is that there will only be one trophy. I can see using a formula to determine which team qualifies for post-season play. But if Baylor and TCU both finish 8-1, they both should have something for their trophy case.
