I read a story this weekend and I forget where now, that said KU had the ball with a chance to tie at the end of the game when Niang was involved in a play that finally wnet ISU's way after other calls against KU didn't. the story said Niang drew a charge and the writer compared it to other KU games where the call went against us late. I didn't remember KU having the ball with a chance to tie late in the game, so I rewatched the last few minutes and the Niang charge came when we were up by 4.
the story made it sound like the only reason we won was because of a referee's call, which was obviously BS. In that last frantic minute and a half, I never once felt like we weren't going to win, even when we weren't making FTs.
