The fourteen pre-season selection lists have been handed out in football. Compare the 7 teams. Iowa State is a leader for 2021 in the eyes of all fourteen committees preparing the lists. None of the other six teams has players on all 14 lists!

Also, for the Big 12;
on the 1st team pre-season all Big 12 picks, Iowa State has 8, Oklahoma 7, and Texas only 2.

The # of players included on the watch lists for each team is shown below:.
Iowa State - 24; Clemson - 22; Ohio State - 18; Oklahoma - 19; Alabama - 23; Texas - 5; Iowa 7;

Interesting to see the lack of recognition for Texas and Iowa. Texas has players nominated in only 5 of the 14 watch lists, and only two on pre-season conference 1st team. Iowa was nominated on only half (7) of the pre-season watch lists.
