I heard today from a friend who talked to a gal who works for the Bulls at a wedding recently. When asked if the Bulls were going to hire Hoiberg she said no way....because they wouldn't write the check to pry him away. Now is that a source since I heard she works for the Bulls? I don't know if she is John Paxson's secretary, a beer vendor, or the weekend cleaning lady but she works for the Bulls. As I was mowing this afternoon I started to think all we have heard in the last few weeks.

And on and on but you catch my drift. They all had good sources supposedly. The only one rumor we know for sure is Thibs was fired. As for the rest, I am still hopeful that Fred stays at ISU and 20 years from now we will all laugh about this. A couple facts I do know and these aren't rumors.

Fred has always represented Iowa State with the utmost in class both as a player and a coach.
And this one I don't know but am just guessing that if he leaves it will be extremely hard for him to leave. I still give out hope he will be our coach for a long time and I am done worrying about all the good sources and until something happens I am still proud he is our coach.
