As mentioned previously, 2 of the best cross country runners in Ohio (including one with the 2nd fastest time nationally this year) will be Cyclones next fall.

Just as an FYI they finished 1st and 5th at the state meet last weekend in Ohio for Division 1. (Large schools)

Along with Current ISU Sophomore Toby Hardwick (from Newark, OH) seems like ISU is building a nice XC pipeline from the buckeye state. (note: Hardwick was the top Cyclone runner at the Big 12 meet this year as a Soph)

Athlete # Team Score Time Gap Avg. Mile Avg. kM 1 Mile 2 Mile
1 Jordan, Andrew 1160 Watkins Memorial

2 Gaynor, Gavin 1116 Hudson 2 15:13.8 0:19.9 4:53.8 3:02.8 4:48.6(3) 9:44.0(2)
3 Horter, Dustin 1229 Lak. East -- 15:14.4 0:20.4 4:54.0 3:02.9 4:48.1(1) 9:44.3(3)
4 Cohen, Danny 1108 Solon 3 15:24.1 0:30.1 4:57.1 3:04.8 4:49.9(11) 9:45.3(4)
5 Wagner, Luke 1135 St. Ignatius 4 15:26.6 0:32.6 4:57.9 3:05.3 4:49.0(6) 9:46.8(5)

Andrew Jordan's 14:54 was a course record and 2nd fastest time ever at an Ohio High School State meet.

Question for those that follow ISU XC...was Thomas Pollard red shirting this year? I noticed he did not compete for ISU in any of the XC meets this fall.
