WWII Marine ISC
The picture at the link above showed up in my Facebook news feed. It is a wounded marine from Iowa on Iowa Jima. I figured some on here may know the man, as he was an Ag instructor at Lake City, Rudolph Engstrom. Hopefully, the link works, I tried saving it to Instagram and make it public.
The Facebook page it was posted on is WWII uncovered. The conditions these guys fought in are crazy. I was active duty HM when the first Gulf War started. Thankfully, I never had to endure anything like that.
Just thought it interesting that a picture with an Iowa connection showed up.
