It was a very close match today, but our wrestlers pulled out the win. It was our first match against one of the new Big 12 opponents. It was really weird seeing the XII logo on the Wyoming wrestlers. I am really glad we expanded the league though.
Maybe I'm not giving Wyoming enough credit, but I was not very happy with the way we wrestled. It seemed some of our guys got tired and were not aggressive enough. We could have easily lost this dual. In fact after the meet had ended I had to keep reminding me that we won. My emotions were as if we had lost. I can't wait to hear what Kevin said after the meet.
