I found it interesting that BF says if the season started today, Bridget Carleton would start and would also likely be the backup PG.
Everybody was enamored of the two more highly rated recruits, Burkhall and Starks, but it's Carleton who is apparently turning heads in practice. Not that Carleton was not highly regarded. She was the top player in Canada, according to several publications. But that's like saying she was the top player in England. Who knows what that means? I know Carleton was an afterthought to me when thinking about this year's team. It was all Burkhall and Starks for me when talking about newcomers, and oh yeah, we got Carleton too.
