Been wondering this lately:
With seemingly several dozen companies pushing to find a Covid-19 vaccine, will just ONE model eventually be chosen? Or will several different vaccines that the FDA finds effective, but are built differently, be approved and administered by several different companies?
I heard today that Johnson & Johnson announced they could have a million doses ready a year from now. That's a drop in the bucket for how many will be needed.
If J & J or any company is found to have the "best" vaccine, do they license competitors to produce more doses to meet world-wide demand?
Or how does this work?
