I assume that Jamie has had a short list for a long time. Maybe he is receiving interest from people he didn't expect to hear from now that Fred's move is official. I guess I don't think people will accept TJ unless they are sure that a thorough search has been made and other candidates also interviewed which might take time. I don't think there could be any process as short as the one that hired Fred unless Jeff H flat out chases the job which I don't think he will do.
I guess I would hope that we can have someone by June 12 (the end of next week).... But, at this time of the year there isn't a specific need to rush so an announcement after the 12th would be just fine with me.
