I was thinking about this today while installing a furnace. In my mind, a trip to the NCAA Tournament is a successful season.
What makes it an extra successful season is a high tournament seed.
Over joyed season is winning the Big 12 tournament and a nice tournament run into the second day of the Sweet 16.
Dream season is to win the Big 12, the Big 12 tournament, and final 4.
Obviously a championship would be a cherry on top. But would most call a first round loss in the NCAA a failed season? There’s a few games we lost in the first round where I was sick to my stomach. Anyway, curious if others are close to my thoughts or not.
