Surprised no one mentioned this yet - ASU was on a four game losing streak and went into Morgantown and fairly comfortably handled West Virginia by 7. Lead the whole game.
So the question is: will the hangover that caused us to lose at WV after KU, and caused WV to lose to ASU after ISU now cause ASU to lose to ISU after WV?
Seriously - how the hell does a 4 game losing streak end AT West Virginia. In my mind if we’re really working for a 1 seed, wins at both ASU and AU would be optimal. I know that’s a lot but both teams are beatable at home.
Double whammy: WV loss looks worse today for us after ASU game. ASU will be playing with a pulse at home vs Iowa State.
Guess we’ll see.
