we have two 6'5 wide receivers

I do not understand when we line up, regardless of what play is called, if lazzard or Montgomery have 1 on 1 coverage with a smaller defensive back why don't we just throw it to them and let them make a play. what is the advantage of having a 6'5 wr if u never exploit mismatches?
