I'm in the press box for St. Joseph vs University of Detroit Jesuit High in southwest Michigan tonight. UofD Jesuit has 2018 running back Elijah Collins, who picked up his first offer from Iowa State earlier today. Collins is a big back at 6-foot-2 and 195 pounds. As I'm typing he just ran in his second touchdown of the first half, this one from 23 yards out. Besides good size, Collins has shown to be a patient runner with good vision. A little upright as a runner, but speed is good and he changes direction effortlessly. If I can, I'll try to grab some comments on the Iowa State offer from Collins after the game.
