Since there are 15 of these dates and recruits will be in and out of town for each of those, I think I'm going to just do a message board post for each date highlighting the visitors. Let's start with who I confirmed was in town on Thursday.
The obvious headliner in the group was Linn-Mar (IA) tight end commit Keaton Roskop, who was perhaps doing a bit of recruiting of his own for the Cyclones' 2024 recruiting class. Roskop has picked up a recent offer from Texas A&M, but appears to still be firmly in the fold for Matt Campbell's staff.
The younger brother of former Iowa linebacker and pending NFL Draft pick Jack Campbell, Drew made a return visit to Ames for Thursday's practice. He already has an offer from the Cyclones from last year's camp season. Iowa, Kansas State, and Northern Iowa have also extended offers.
After securing a Power-5 offer from Iowa yesterday, Central Lyon standout wide receiver Reece Vander Zee secured one from ISU on Thursday during his practice visit to Ames. The 6-foot-5, 185-pound junior also has FCS offers from Air Force, Eastern Michigan, Northern Illinois, and Western Michigan.
The top punter in the country was back at Iowa State for Thursday's practice. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound standout from Mediapolis (IA) also has P5 offers from Michigan and NC State. The Cyclones were in for one of Miller's basketball games over the winter and continue to recruit him hard for the 2024 class.
The son of former Iowa defensive end and long-time NFL player Aaron Kampman, Ben returned to ISU's campus for a repeat visit.
